About Me
My background
I have been writing for over ten years. Now, not professionally, as I'm only twenty-eight. However, I have created worlds and stories my entire life, especially from high school and on. "All is Quiet in the Cosmos," was my first foray into professional and published writing, and the first book that I ever finished. I had a high school creative writing teacher who pulled me aside and told me he expected to see my books on shelves one day. His dreams are half-realized, since I write under a pseudonym and use an online persona, but hey, at least I did it.
I am a parent, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and AuDHD, which means that life hasn't been easy for me. However, as a huge advocate for queer representation in media, I decided to take a step into doing that myself. But I wanted to do so in a way that was safe for my daughter and wouldn't upend her life too much, hence the online persona. I am the first virtual author and the warmth with which I've been accepted into the writing community has urged me to continue to push forward in the fashion I've started.
My writing roots
Like I've shared above, I started writing at a very young age and received lots of encouragement. Because of this, I know how vital it is for young writers to have a sort of cheerleader or mentor figure. One of the services I can offer is mentorship with writing, drafting, and planning your first novel. I'd love to help you get started.
My style
I am big on planning a little, and dreaming a lot. Because I write science fiction and fantasy, world-building (and careful world-building at that) is something that is absolutely vital. But, outside of that, I'm very big on listening to your characters and where they wish to lead you. That makes the best writing.
